Dirkbal.nl is a static, informational website: there is no contact form, no visitor login area, and no cookies or tracking software (such as Google Analytics) are used to measure visitor behavior. The only personal data processed is what you provide yourself when you contact Dirk Bal directly — for example by email (info@dirkbal.nl) or phone. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
Any data you share by email or phone is used solely to respond to and handle your question, commission, or registration (for example, for a workshop or retreat). This data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes, and is not kept any longer than needed to complete the contact and, where applicable, to meet legal retention obligations (such as tax record-keeping).
This site loads fonts (Google Fonts) directly from Google's servers. This technically transmits your IP address to Google, without any account or cookie being involved. The site also contains links to third-party services such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Maps, and the webshop galeriedirkbal.com (Shopify). Once you click such a link, you are subject to that third party's own privacy policy — dirkbal.nl has no control over that.
For the purchase of original works, miniatures, art prints, and digital tools (such as the Color Mixing Assistant), you are redirected to galeriedirkbal.com. Order and payment data are processed there via the Shopify platform, which has its own privacy and cookie policy.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and the right to object to its processing. To do so, contact info@dirkbal.nl.
